Pilates is an exercise method focused on core strengthening, flexibility and postural alignment using mat exercises and spring resistance. It is specifically designed to promote healthy joint movement and alignment and has been clinically proven to help in the recovery of back pain.
At SPEAR, Pilates can be incorporated into your physical therapy session by our clinical staff at 56th street using the Cadillac and a Reformer. SPEAR also offers a Pilates mat class and private Reformer/Cadillac sessions with a Pilates instructor for both rehabilitation and fitness.
